When having a lot of translation work to do, I have to keep sitting in front of PC.
I didn't know at all that sitting down is harmful to our health, but actually there seem to be various health risks, as many Websites and books say.
I tried to avoid sitting for too long by using Fitbit today.
The smart device works like this:
If I don't take 250 steps or more for an hour, it tells me, "it's time to walk," etc. For example, if I receive the message at 15:50 "You should take 250 steps in ten minutes," it means I haven't taken any steps since 15:00. Following its advice, I got 100 score today.
What I'm now interested in is a standing desk (like the above photo). It seems better for me if I continue translation works for a while. However, as I started to declutter my home 2 years ago and want to be a minimalist, I'm still hesitating to buy it.
Anyway I'll try to lead a non-sedentary lifestyle!
I jogged 6.45km at a pace of 7.18min/km in this morning.
