東京中央卸売市場が築地から豊洲へ移転して、もう2年余りが過ぎた。
解体工事が終わり、本来なら今夏オリンピック開催中は選手や関係者向けの輸送拠点として使用される予定だった場内跡地。曇天の冬空の下、だだっぴろい更地がなんだか寂しげに見える。
2018年10月の引っ越し当日は、何台ものターレトラックが数珠をなして築地から豊洲へ向かった築地大橋。隅田川で一番新しく一番東京湾に近い橋だ。
昨日は、お料理上手さんが作ってくれた海鮮丼をいただいた。豊洲から届いたという新鮮なサーモンやマグロがアボカドやシソと絶妙に調和して、美味しいことこの上なし。普段はなんちゃってビーガンだけど、時には気にしない。ごちそうさまでした。感謝！
昨日は外出したのでジョギングもヨガもお休み。
Around 2 years have passed since the Tsukiji wholesale market, which was also called as the Tsukiji inner market renowned for its tuna auctions, was closed and moved from Tsukiji to Toyosu.
The demolition work was already done and the site was supposed to be used as the transportation hub for the Tokyo Olimpic/Paralympic Games in this summer. The huge vacant place looked deserted under the cloudy winter sky.
I still remember on the moving day so many small turret trucks were moving toward Toyosu from Tsukiji on the bridge named "Tsukiji-O-hashi" over the River Sumida, which is the newest and closest to Tokyo Bay.
I was so happy to eat the yummy and healthy Kaisen-don (a bowl of vinegared rice topped with various fish and veggies) made by a good cook yesterday. She used very fresh ingredients just delivered from the new Toyosu fish market. I'm an almost vegan, but I sometimes have a special day. I really appreciate her cooking and hospitality.
I didn't jog nor did I do yoga due to going out yesterday. It was a kind of cheat day.
