The Northernmost Meets the Southernmost at Yokohama!

Do you have a sweet teeth? If so, how about the traditional Japanese sweets?

Two kinds of confectioneries attracted me very much yesterday. Both are from Yokohama. One is a pancake-like bun stuffed with sweet red bean paste, called ‘DORAYAKI’, which features its two ingredients: brown sugar from Okinawa (the southernmost region in Japan) and Hokkaido (the northernmost)-produced red beans. The other is MONAKA, 6-different-ingredient pastes wrapped by thin wafers made from sticky rice, and these 6 small ones represent floating balls on the Yokohama bay. So cute to look at!

I prepared the tax return documents and sent them to the tax office online in the morning, and enjoyed lunch and a piece of DORAYAKI,  and then went out to the near-by park, where I run 10km and did 15-time up-and-down hill workout, which hopefully could burn what I ate . LOL
