The Grace of a Single Rose

I went running as usual in the morning, and in the afternoon, while reading on a couch, I got a message from my friend and rushed to turn on the TV so I wouldn't miss a Japanese famous actress/writer Keiko Kishi on the program, 'Tetsuko-no-Heya.'

The 88-year-old lady in a dark orange-red suit was talking about her past life gently and cheerfully. Amazingly beautiful! She looked like a single rose with grace.

Like the saying, "You can't make an omelet without breaking eggs," she jumped into her marriage life with a French director, Yves Ciampi, in Paris in those days when people were not allowed to go to Europe without any special reason. She also said that she'd love to visit Africa for some purpose after the pandemic is over. I was really inspired by not only her beauty and intelligence but also her strength and courage.
