If you are a vegan or vegetarian, and visit Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, a cafe near the Garden could be one of your lunch options: &sandwich or marbre_vegan.
These are new for me although the area was familiar to me about 20 years ago. Actually I found some changes even in the restaurants I used to visit.
The nature has always been changing, I realized while taking a 2-hour walk in a near-by park for the first time in 1.5 months the other day. Fluffy dandelions, colorful azaleas, fringe irises, weeping wisteria flowers told me a new season had come. However I still found my favorite wine-red magnolia flowers, bringing me a big smile.
Yes, almost nothing has stayed the same as it used to be. Our body and mind are also changing as the days and years go by. This is because we are alive in each moment. I'll try to find something positive in the changes even if they seem negative.
