今朝はひとつ前倒しで納品して、仕事が一段落した。
解放感いっぱいにいつものように公園をランニング。
明日から緊急事態宣言が始まるためか、人出が一段と多い気がする。
なるべく人混みをさけてスピードアップして帰宅後、コーヒーブレイク。
コーヒー豆を、その状態と香りを確かめながら、ミルに入れる。
豆を挽く音、ぼこぼことお湯が沸く音、抽出されたコーヒーがフィルターからポットに落ちていくかすかな音にも耳を傾けてみる。
カップに注ぐときに湯気からアロマが香り立つ。
そして、舌と喉を通して深煎りの液体が体にしみわたっていく。
五感で一杯のコーヒーを楽しむ、贅沢な時間だ!
I sent my translation to the client in the morning,
meaning all the recenet works had been done.
Being released from having to sit in front of PC, I went to run in the usual park.
I found more people there probably because the state of emergency due to the Covid19 pandemic would start again on the next day.
I tried to avoid crowded spaces and run faster back home.
Then it was time for coffee break!
Feeling coffee beans and smelling their aroma, I put them in the mill,
then listened to them being ground, the water bubbling, extracted coffee dropping down through a filter. The freshly brewed coffee gave a rich aroma when I poured it into my cup, and the taste of dark roast coffee penetrated every cell of my body.
I enjoyed a cup of coffee through the senses. What a blessed time!
